Technical position in support of national security programs. Entry level photogrammetrist / feature extraction specialist. Must have ability to see stereoscopically consistently and accurately to satisfy National Map Accuracy Standards. Serve in a technical GIS/Mapping role which is comprised of tasks such as photogrammetric feature extraction, vector/attribute collection, data manipulation and conversion, staging imagery, database editing, creating digital elevation models and contour generation. Technician will work in a team environment to help set daily priorities with every effort made to reach team output goals. Incumbent will be required to understand guidance scenarios and follow through with supervised and unsupervised tasks as well as be quality conscious.
Competencies:
Candidate must be able to see in stereo using softcopy photogrammetric workstations.
