General Position Description
As required, the contractor shall, draft, review and comment, adjudicate comments, correct and finalize program acquisition reporting, including both development of all required acquisition reports, coordination of, and actual submission. This includes OMB-300, Quarterly OMB-300 updates, development and updating of acquisition Plans.
Tasks to be performed include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Acquisition and procurement reporting.
• Preparation and coordination of all acquisition reports including OMB-300, OMB-300 quarterly reports.
• Experience with Measures of Performance and various and related performance measures.
• Preparation, revision, staffing and coordination of acquisition Plans.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
• Bachelors Degree, in Business Management or related area.
• Minimum 5 years experience with Department of Defense acquisition reporting.
• Minimum 5 years experience formulation and coordination of acquisition documentation.
• Formulation of all required information in the OMB-300.
• Familiarity with OMB-300 software and submission procedures.
• Ability to proofread, edit and produce final acquisition products.
• Skill in expressing ideas, policies and technical issues orally and in writing.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with officials and executives inside and outside the agency.

This position is on the Missile Defense National Team. The Information Automation Specialist is responsible for supporting the design of BMDS engineering tools (System Architect, DOORS), to include generating automated reports/documents, integrating information between tools and other applications, and training on customized interfaces. This individual will create automated process and support functions to support engineering design architecture and requirements allocation. In addition, this individual will respond to engineering tasks to develop information models and reports, and to customize tool interfaces. The candidate must have good writing, communication, and collaboration skills.
Required Skills:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of general script writing experience and 3 years experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) for automating System Architect and DXL for automating DOORS. Strong writing, coordination, organization, teaming, and communication abilities. Experience with system engineering on a large scale integration program. PREFERRED: Experience with BMDS, such as Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Theater High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD), Patriot PAC-3, Airborne Laser (ABL), X-Band Radar (XBR), or other major DoD weapon system. Experience with system engineering design and specification desired. Experience linking System Architect to DOORS desired.
